you can pull them out one by one,
they will not grow again.
leaves a gap.
you can pull them out one by one
they will grow back and
fill the gap.

i think i heard a night jar
up the valley here.
it was a quiet night except
for that.
we have the window open now.

. another jacket .
Posted on May 21, 2016
i bought the jacket on tuesday
wore it on wednesday to work.
a retail outlet we likes to look
smart and proper mostly. wore
boots as it was cooler. i thought
it was blue, the girl said purple.
we all see things different.
( technical stuff. photo taken with phone while wearing pjs lit with a torch in the front spare room, it is a gloomy morning)
one of the bears is my ancestor,
illogical i know. he has come to
live here quietly respecting
all that is happening now.
what is that?, he said in itallics.
it is my phone.
how do you explain that?
same as i explained it to him,
i can talk to people who are not here.
ah, the way you talk to me?
yes.

it is quite an obscure book,
the mouse and his child
by russell hoban, some
of you will have heard
of it.
pictures by lillian hoban,
perhaps a relative.
the photo is of r.k.narayan,
breaks a rule
so this may be deleted.
this is an installation, a
love of old things.
some members will be sad
today, and we shall
empathise.
